    Hey, everyone!

Give us a little intro. I’ll start.

I’m Sarah Buhrman, aka AuthorGoddess. I’m an author mostly, but I do, of course, read. Urban fantasy is my go-to, but I enjoy all things fantasy and spec fic. My fav UF books are the Dresden Files, because I love the snark, the wit, and they got my hubby reading!

My books include the Runespells series, a double-handful of anthologies, and a metric ton of works-in-progress (WIPs).

    Your turn!

Hi, I’m Lyssa Medana, I write paranormal romance/urban fantasy and I sort of fell into this genre.  It’s such great fun.  I can’t wait to see how it all works out!

    Debby Grahl

HI, I’m Debby Grahl and I write both contemporary and paranormal romance. My books include The Silver Crescent, Rue Toulouse and His Magic Touch. I’m currently published with The Wild Rose Press. I look forward to meeting fellow authors.

    Timothy Bateson

I’m Timothy Bateson (, book blogger, UF and Sci-Fi author, amateur falconer, and speculative fiction fanatic. I’ve also recently been informed that I’m the reason that this is all happening for the fifth year running.

Honestly, the reason this is all happening is that we have such an amazing community that built itself up around the Brain to Books Cyber Convention and Book Expo (B2BCyCon). When I heard that B2B would be unable to support the event this year, I got their permission to reach out to others to help continue the event, and the result is the wonderful team of volunteers we have for this year, including the OWS team.

I’ve some surprises coming up for the UF group, and I’d love to bring as many of you along for the ride as possible… I might even remember to let Sarah know about them too 😉

And a HUGE thank you to Sarah for stepping up to take on managing the events for this group.

Hi all, I’m Sherry D. Ramsey and I write a fairly broad range of urban fantasy, science fiction, fantasy, paranormal, and mystery. I like to mix genres, so most of my UF has mystery thrown in for good measure. 🙂 I keep a website at and this is my first OWSCyCon, so I’m both excited and a little lost at the moment. I’ll figure it out! Nice to meet you all.

I am D. Gabrielle Jensen, which is a little awkward so you can call me D or Gabrielle or Des…whatever finds your lost remote. 🙂 I’ve been writing literally my entire life but I have just, after some setbacks, rediscovered my groove in the last couple of years. I have two collections of slam poetry on Amazon and I’m working on finishing a UF trilogy that will be on its way by the time of this, my first con.

I read, write, dabble in photography and merch design, do hair. As is written in my official author bio, I like things that begin with the letter “C” – coffee, cats, conversation, cities, concerts, crowds, chaos – and things that don’t – airports, traveling, other humans, macro photography, urban decay, macro photography of urban decay, the beauty of flaw.

I am Barbara White. This is my first Cycon and I am looking forward to participating with other authors and other genres as well. I love the UF and Fantasy genre the best and my first book , Shadows of Night, is UF. I’ve been writing since I was 28 , which is nearly 20 years ago, but I have just published my first since through the course of life I lost 5 other books in a series that I had written. I decided to start a new series since I didn’t feel that I could recreate the first series and do it justice.

I am a stay at home mom when I am not writing and I think I do less creative things like, cooking, quilting, crocheting, ceramics  and traveling as hobbies when I am not using my imagination for my books.

I am excited for Cycon to begin and hope we have a successful event. Good luck to everyone.

This is very much belated, but I’m Erin Casey, and this is my first time attending CyCon! I’m really excited about it, and I can’t wait to meet all the other authors and readers on here. I write all realms of fantasy (urban fantasy, YA, medieval). My first book, The Purple Door District, came out on December 15th, 2018, and I’m busy writing book two. I’m hoping to have the rough draft done within about a month. My cover artist already finished my cover, and I can’t wait to share it with everyone!

I’m a Director of a literary organization called The Writers’ Rooms, a non-profit corporation that provides a free, safe environment to all writers, no matter their income, background, skill set, gender, etc. I work as a proofreader by day, and I’m an author and bird mom by night. I have 7 birds in my flock who have become my little muses when I write.

I think this is going to be an incredible event! I’m hoping to get my booth up soon. I’ve already seen some amazing ones out there.
